On October 16th, we at Pure Healthcare Albany, join people from around the world to raise awareness on World Spine Day. This is all part of the Bone and Joint Decade, which began in 2010. This is a time to stop and take notice of the importance of looking after your spine – because, as you know, you only get one, and it needs good care and attention.
Spinal disorders, such as back pain, neck pain, scoliosis and disc disease, are common, and have a profound effect on a person’s overall health, impacting our ability to work, play, enjoy everyday activities and even sleep patterns.
Research has demonstrated that poor posture, inactivity and general deterioration of you spine can contribute to the development of back pain, neck pain and other spinal disorders.
